Elmiene Shares New Single Saviour From Upcoming Debut Album 'Sounds For Someone'

Elmiene has released a new single, Saviour.
Co-written and produced by Mercury Prize-winner Sampha, the intimate piano-driven ballad marks the final preview of the BRIT and MOBO-nominated British-Sudanese artist's debut album, 'sounds for someone', due out on March 27. Elmiene commented:
"Saviour is me calling to my childish desires and not just brushing them away, but taking them for as serious as they really really are. We all just want a hero. Word to Enrique Iglesias. Since I was addressing childhood issues, I needed my big brother Sampha to see me through to the end."
The track arrives alongside a live performance video shot in London featuring Sampha on piano and follows Elmiene's earlier singles from the album, Honour, Reclusive and Cry Against The Wind. The record also features Grammy-winner Raphael Saadiq, who also contributes production alongside Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman and No I.D.
Elmiene will support 'sounds for someone' with a North American tour this spring, followed by UK and European dates in the autumn. Tickets are on sale now.
Last November, he dropped 'Heat The Streets Some Mo', a remix EP of his 'Heat The Streets' mixtape, released in September.
