The Ting Tings Return With Wrong Club

Tuesday, 03 June 2014 Written by Huw Baines

The Ting Tings have returned with Wrong Club, the first taster from their forthcoming third album.

The duo recorded the follow up to 'Sounds From Nowheresville' in Ibiza with help from Andy Taylor, former guitarist of '80s pop icons Duran Duran. It's expected this autumn, with Wrong Club out as a single on July 28. Discussing the song, the band said:

"[It's] about feeling like you don't fit in. Finding someone you can leave with, finding someone like you, finding someone who likes you, even if you can't dance like the rest. It’s a dark take on a good time. Finding your place on the dance floor or shunning the stereotypes around you because they can't see your vision regardless [of] how wrong or right."
