Me Vs Hero Announce New Album And September UK Tour

Me Vs Hero have announced details of their second album, 'I'm Completely Fine', as well as dates for a September UK headline tour.
The British pop punks, who four years ago released their debut 'Days That Shape Our Lives', will unleash 'I'm Completely Fine' on September 1, followed by a UK trek to support the album.
Speaking about the new record, frontman Sam Thompson comments:
“Honestly? This album nearly ended Me Vs Hero numerous times. What started out as a joke two years ago paraphrasing Alan Partridge’s immortal line - 'yeah I'm completely fine' - actually became too literal for us.
“We put faith in people that couldn't deliver the end product that we knew this record needed, it cost us financially and set us back exponentially. In the end we recorded it ourselves, from vocals in a council estate high rise, to guitars in a rubbish filled garage. It wasn't a pretty sight, it certainly wasn't comfortable and it was hugely hit and miss. Thankfully Romesh Dodangoda of Longwave Studios and Chris Gehringher of Sterling Sound rekindled our passion, delivering a fantastic mix and a flawless master.
“We don't expect people to feel sorry for us, we know people got bored of waiting for us, some people will love what we've done, others won't. We started this record four years ago; we're just happy it's finally coming out.”
The quintet will get their tour underway on Thursday September 18 in Bristol, before finishing up on September 24 at O2 Academy2 Birmingham. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £7.00 (£8.00 in London), plus fees.
