Me Vs Hero are an English pop punk and ‘easycore’ outfit hailing from Blackpool. Formed in 2007, the band currently consists of frontman Sam Thompson, guitarists Bobby Pook and Grant Berry, bassist Michael Booth, and drummer Simon Smith.
Spending their earlier years gigging as often as they could, the band decided to take their career to the next level following the tragic death of founding guitarist Alex McCulloch in 2008, and would go on to release their debut LP ‘Days That Shape Our Lives’ two years later. Earning them tours alongside the likes of Skindred and Deaf Havana as well as slots at Sonisphere and Slam Dunk, Me Vs Hero would put out record #2, ‘I’m Completely Fine’, in 2014.
