Black Spiders will cap the year with a short run of headline shows.
Confirmed for early December, the shows at the Cavern in Exeter, London's Garage, Bristol's Thekla, Manchester Academy and Glasgow's Cathouse will be based on a setlist hand-picked by fans. Support comes from Turbogiest and Rival State, with tickets on sale at 9am on October 3, priced at £10.00 (£12.00 in London), plus fees.
A post on the band's official Facebook page revealed:
"WINTER TOUR DATES! YOU DELIBERATE THE SONGS!!
If ever there was something to lighten up your dark December nights... It's this news. Raise your drinking vessels to the heavens and give libations to the Gods, as once again those vagabonds of rock, Black Spiders, saddle up and take to the road before the end of the year.
Imagine if you will a cornucopia of theatre and hirsute menagerie from these dark riders, coupled together with a once In a lifetime opportunity, for you as a patron, to choose the merry ditties they strum, for you to shout and sing along to... CHOOSE YOUR ULTIMATE BLACK SPIDERS SET LIST HERE!!"
The band also appear alongside the Answer, Heaven's Basement and more at Sheffield's Corporation for the Winter Rocks festival on December 6.
