Artist and producer Kim Fowley has died aged 75.
The American singer and producer released his own music during the 1960s but was perhaps best known for his work with the Runaways in the late 1970s.
A Los Angeles native, Fowley was born in 1939 to actor Douglas Fowley and actress Shelby Payne. He died yesterday evening, but as yet an official cause of death has not been announced. Billboard reported in September of last year that he had been receiving treatment for cancer.
