Babes In Toyland have lined up a return to the UK this spring.
Having come to prominence in the late ‘80s, the Minneapolis-born punk trio will follow their first live set in 18 years, at the Roxy Theatre in LA on February 12, with shows in Bristol, Southampton, London, Manchester and Glasgow between May 24 and 28. Tickets are on sale at 9am on January 30, priced from £20.00 plus fees.
Singer and guitarist Kat Bjelland said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone:
"It was brought to my attention that not only do we have a lot of diehard fans from back in the day, but also a whole new generation of kids – my son Henry included – that were eager to see us live.
"I felt some kind of obligation for them to see us, too. But mainly, I just missed my girls and the feeling that comes from playing with them – visceral live therapy."
The band have also booked a slot at the Beaches Brew festival in Ravenna, Italy and set at Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
