Violet Grohl has announced her debut album.
The American singer-songwriter, who you may recognise from performing with her dad Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, will release 'Be Sweet To Me' through Auroura Records/Republic Records on May 29. She recorded it at producer Justin Raisen’s home studio in Los Angeles from late 2024 to early 2025.
The album will include Grohl's previously shared singles THUM and Applefish, but not her January single What's Heaven Without You about David Lynch, though it will be released as an exclusive 7” for Record Store Day on April 18.
Alongside news of the record, Grohl has shared 595, a grunge-tinged rock track inspired by a vintage t-shirt advertising a phone sex line. Check out its Nikki Milan Houston-directed video below, as well the artwork and tracklist.
