Muse Release Second 'Drones' Track Dead Inside

Monday, 23 March 2015 Written by Huw Baines

Muse have released Dead Inside, the second song to emerge from their new album, 'Drones'.

With the band having popped up at a string of smaller venues in recent days and the new record set to hit shelves on June 8, Matt Bellamy had this to say about the follow up to Psycho and its place in the narrative:

“This is where the story of the album begins, where the protagonist loses hope and becomes ‘Dead Inside’, therefore vulnerable to the dark forces introduced in Psycho and which ensue over the next few songs on the album, before eventually defecting, revolting and overcoming these dark forces later in the story.”
