Lonely The Brave Release Video For New Single River, River

Thursday, 16 April 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Lonely The Brave have released a video for their new single, River, River.

The song is taken from the Cambridge quintet's reissue of their debut album 'The Day's War'. The two disc extended version, titled 'The Day’s War – Victory Edition', will include 12 unreleased tracks and four new songs. It's due out June 1. Discussing the reissue, the band said:

"The basic thought process for us was to take the songs apart, and rebuild them in a completely different mindset to how they were originally created. This was one of the most fun and challenging things we have ever done as a band. Songs do not need to be represented by one set context. The feelings and emotions contained within are a living and breathing entity in their own right which should be allowed to develop.”

Check out the video below.

Lonely The Brave will play a headline show at London's Tabernacle on June 3. Tickets are on sale now, prices start at £13.50, plus fees. Head here to get yours.
