Field Music have released a video for their latest single, The Noisy Days Are Over.
The song is lifted from the duo's new album, 'Commontime', which is due out February 5 via Memphis Industries and follows up their ‘Music For Drifters’ soundtrack, which was released earlier this year. Discussing the video, filmed by Andy Martin and starring Graeme Hopper, Peter Brewis said:
"Andy and Graeme pulled off something visually stunning, as well as being very funny. It's a perfect commentary to the song and it works as a snapshot of our little cultural sphere in Sunderland in the same way the video for "You're Not Supposed To" did 9 years ago."
Field Music's live band will hit the road following the release of the album, with the duo set to be joined by Kev Dosdale (guitar, synths), Andrew Lowther (bass) and Liz Corney (keys and vocals).
