Madness will head to Cyfarthfa Castle in Merthyr Tydfil this August.
The ska-pop troupe will play the Welsh open-air show on August 19, with tickets going on sale at 10.00am on March 11, priced at £42.50, plus fees. More acts for the event are due to be announced soon.
Speaking with Wales Online, Orchard promoter Dave Driscoll said:
“Madness are a massive name in UK music, so it’s terrific to get them to do an outdoor concert at Cyfarthfa Park this summer. It’s a venue we know well, so I’m sure they’ll draw a great crowd and get a wonderful reception.”
Madness have also recently announced a new one-day festival, House Of Common, at London's Clapham Common on August 29.
