Hurray For The Riff Raff have lined up a UK tour in June and July.
Alynda Segarra and her folk-rock band will visit Cardiff, Birmingham, Leicester, Norwich and Leeds either side of festival appearances at Roskilde in Denmark and Roots in the Park in the Netherlands. Tickets are on sale starting at 9am on April 8, priced from £10.00 plus fees.
The band have also begun the process of recording a new album, scheduled for release early next year. Speaking about the record, Segarra says:
"This next album is inspired by city life and all that it takes to survive: not just to eat and breathe but to survive culturally and spiritually. I have been very inspired by the 70's salsa scene of Fania Records and the Nuyorican poetry scene in the Lower East Side. I am excited about what is ahead and can't wait to share it."
