Oasis are set to feature on the upcoming War Child charity record.
The band have contributed an exclusive live version of the fan favorite Acquiesce to the star-studded 'HELP(2)', due out this Friday (March 6) via War Child Records.
Recorded last September on the final night of Oasis' seven-show run at London's Wembley Stadium during their huge Oasis Live ’25 Tour, the track will also be released as a bonus 7" single inside the gatefold vinyl of the record, and as a hidden track on the double CD edition. It'll also be available to stream and download from Friday. Announcing the news on social media, War Child UK wrote:
"Recorded on the final night of their historic 7-show run at Wembley Stadium, this marks the first ever physical release of a live recording from their record-breaking 2025 world tour - available as a bonus 7” single inside the gatefold vinyl of 'HELP(2)' and as a hidden track on the double CD. Stream and download from this Friday, 6 March.
"30 years after opening the original 'HELP' album in 1995, Oasis are standing with War Child once again - helping protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living through conflict."
Produced by James Ford and recorded at Abbey Road Studios in just one week last November, 'HELP(2)' will also feature the recently shared Helicopters by Ezra Collective and Greentea Peng, Begging For Change by Pulp, The Last Dinner Party's contribution Let's Do It Again!, the collaborative track Flags by Damon Albarn, Grian Chatten of Fontaines D.C. and Kae Tempest, as well as Arctic Monkeys' first new song in four years, Opening Night.
Other acts lined up to appear on the 23-track record include Anna Calvi, Beabadoobee, Beck, Bat For Lashes, Graham Coxon, Depeche Mode, Arlo Parks, Foals, Wolf Alice's Ellie Rowsell, Olivia Rodrigo, Sampha, Wet Leg, Young Fathers and more.
Oasis ended 16 years of speculation with a surprise reunion in August 2024, followed by their Oasis Live '25 Tour last year, which wrapped up with shows in Melbourne and Sydney in November.
Last month, Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher was announced as this year's BRITs Songwriter Of The Year with the musician picking up the BRIT Award last Saturday night (February 28) at the ceremony at Manchester's Co-op Live. Head here for a full list of winners.
