Haley Bonar Announces October UK Tour, Lines Up August Release For New Album 'Impossible Dream'

Haley Bonar will tour the UK this October in support of her new album.
'Impossible Dream' is set to arrive through Memphis Industries on August 5 and follow up 2014's 'Last War'. Discussing the record, Bonar said:
“Everybody wants a story. Something to sell. I’m here to tell you that there isn’t one with this album, at least in the traditional sense, but 10. I could sit here and tell you that some of the songs are about growing up in the Black Hills. Some of the songs are about my parents. Some of the songs are about homosexuality. Some of the songs are about loss of youth, teenage parenthood, the lines of social disorder for women, or the terror of jealousy and suspicion. But what I write is borne of my own set of memories and ideas, and once they are released into the world, they do not belong to me anymore.”
Following the arrival of the album, Bonar and her band will hit the road in October for a headline UK tour, during which she will also support Field Music in Gateshead on October 22 and Manchester on October 29.
Tickets for Bonar's headline shows go on sale at 10.00am on May 6, except for London, which is on sale now. Meanwhile, check out the record's lead single, I Can Change, below.
