Steve Mason has lined up a new UK tour this autumn.
Best known as the lead singer of the Beta Band, Mason, who put out his solo album, 'Meet The Humans', in February, will hit the road in early October, with stops planned in Liverpool, Stoke, Hebden Bridge, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Wakefield, Sheffield, Birmingham, Cambridge, Hull, Leicester, Southampton, Nottingham, Oxford and Cardiff, finishing up in Guildford on October 28. Speaking about the new trek, Mason said:
"Now seemed like a good time to sort another run of shows out but this time go deeper into some of the places I’ve either never played or have not played in a while. I have formed an elite snatch squad from my band - a three piece band made up of drums (Greg), bass (Bodge) and me, we will be performing various songs I have written over the years but mainly from the last three albums. Before this recent UK tour I went around Europe and Scandinavia with just my acoustic guitar and I really enjoyed it so I guess it will be a little like that but with more beef and bottom end thanks to Greg and Bodge. EXPECT US!"
The dates follow various festival appearances through the summer, including Field Day, Deer Shed, Bluedot and End Of The Road, while tickets are on sale at 10am on May 6, priced from £18.00 plus fees.
