Public Service Broadcasting To Release 'The Race For Space/Remixes' In June

Thursday, 05 May 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Public Service Broadcasting will release 'The Race For Space/Remixes' this summer.

The remix album, which re-works tracks from their 2015 sophomore album, is due to arrive on June 17. It features mixes by Field Music, Boxed In, Vessels, Dutch Uncles, Robert Babicz, Maps, Copy Paste Soul, Psychemagik, Blond:Ish, Petar Dundov and Kauf. Discussing it, J. Willgoose Esq. said:

"Even back when I was still writing this album, I was imagining the kind of remixes we could get and the artists who we'd ask. I couldn't be happier with how it's turned out; I think this is a really interesting and fresh (and in some cases mildly bonkers, a good thing in my book) reinterpretation of our songs and I'm looking forward to sharing it with our fans."

Public Service Broadcasting will play Swansea's Liberty Stadium, supporting Manic Street Preachers, on May 28. Following that they will hit the summer festival circuit, calling at Blue Dot, Leopallooza, Electric Fields and Jersey Live. They will also support Maximo Park at Times Square in Newcastle on July 31.
