Rob Lynch Lines Up July Release For Sophomore Album 'Baby, I'm A Runaway'

Tuesday, 24 May 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Rob Lynch will release his sophomore album this summer.

The folk-punk singer-songwriter will put out 'Baby, I’m A Runaway’ on July 22 via Xtra Mile Recordings. Check out cut Sure Thing below. Discussing the song, Lynch said:

“It’s a song about being in a bit of a slump and longing for someone to drag you out of it, whether that be through a person themself or through music/literature (there’s a few nods to my favourite writers/artists in there). The joyous nature of the music is supposed to win out over the downbeat lyrics to invoke an overall sense that everything will be alright.”

Lynch will appear at Slam Dunk festival this weekend, support Fatherson at the Scala in London on June 2 and head to 2000trees festival in July.
