Norah Jones Announces New Album 'Day Breaks', Shares Video For New Track Carry On

Norah Jones has announced the release of her sixth solo album.
'Day Breaks' is due to arrive on October 7 and is said to be the "kindred spirit to her breakout debut 'Come Away With Me'". The record features other Blue Note artists, including saxophonist Wayne Shorter, organist Dr. Lonnie Smith, and drummer Brian Blade. It will include 12 songs, of which nine are originals and the remaining three are covers of songs by Horace Silver, Duke Ellington and Neil Young.
Following the release the American singer-songwriter will play the London Palladium on November 14, as part of a wider European tour. Tickets are on sale now.
