Fisherman's Friends have announced plans to tour the UK early next year.
The Port Isaac vocal group will perform new material and favourites at 12 shows, kicking off on January 26 at the Anvil in Basingstoke before passing through Salisbury, Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Exmouth, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Yeovil, Oxford, Ilfracombe and Poole, winding up a month later in Truro. Fisherman’s Friends said:
"We are really looking forward to getting into the fish van again and playing for old friends and making some new ones around the country. We are not very rock n roll, more born to be mild than wild, but we love performing anywhere we can and carrying a little bit of Cornwall with us."
The group put out their latest album, 'Proper Job', last summer, while tickets are on general sale at 9am on August 26, priced from £18.00/£22.50 plus fees.
