Dave Wakeling's The English Beat Set Up Autumn UK Tour

The English Beat, led by original songwriter and lead singer of the Beat, Dave Wakeling, have announced a UK tour this autumn.
The ska troupe will hit the road in mid September for 18 shows, including stops in Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff, Fife and their hometown of Birmingham, before wrapping up the run at the Garage in Highbury, London, on October 8.Tickets are on sale now.
Formed in Birmingham in 1978, the Beat (known in North America as the English Beat) had success with a string of Top 10 singles, including Mirror in the Bathroom, Tears of a Clown, Hands Off She's Mine and Too Nice To Talk To, before disbanding in 1983.
