Emilie and Ogden has announced an acoustic EP, '10 000 Solo'.
The record is set to arrive on September 30, via Secret City Records, and will contain acoustic versions of five tracks from her debut album, '10 000', which was released a year ago.
Emilie Kahn has said of the EP;
“After a year of touring my first album, I wanted to go back and offer some stripped down versions of some of my favorite songs to play, returning to how they were originally written - just myself and the harp. I went in the studio with Warren C. Spicer and we had fun experimenting with all sorts of microphones until we got just the right close-up, intimate sound. The tracks were all performed live in single takes, which I think is also what gives this EP a certain intimacy.”
