Future Of The Left's Julia Ruzicka Shares Black Francis Collaboration Painter Man Is Coming

Future Of The Left bassist Julia Ruzicka has shared the first taste of her debut solo album.

'This Becomes Us' is due out on November 11 via Prescription Music. Painter Man Is Coming, which premiered via Noisey, is a collaboration with Pixies frontman Black Francis, one of many special guests that will appear on the record​. In a statement about the record, Rizicka said:

“I have loved and still love the role I play in my bands creatively, on bass, but as time passed throughout various writing periods for all kinds of records, I started to stockpile ideas on bass, and just wanted to see some of the embryonic ideas written on bass turn into fully realised songs.”
