Nightwish To Release 'Vehicle Of Spirit' Live DVD In December

Friday, 14 October 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Nightwish have announced details of a new live DVD package, 'Vehicle Of Spirit'.

After being on the road for a year and a half, the band will immortalise their Endless Forms Most Beautiful tour on multiple formats on December 9. Speaking about the release, keyboardist and songwriter Tuomas Holopainen says:

"The title Vehicle Of Spirit came from a friend of Troy's, who after seeing our show a few years ago defined NIGHTWISH as 'A vehicle of spirit that defies category'. That beautiful description has followed us ever since, and felt like a perfect match as the DVD title."

Check out a teaser of the DVD, which features two full concerts and plenty of bonus material, with a clip of the opening track, Shudder Before The Beautiful, recorded at London's SSE Arena Wembley.

Nightwish released 'Endless Forms Most Beautiful' in March 2015.
