Stornoway Announce 2017 'The Farewell Tour'

Tuesday, 25 October 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Stornoway have announced plans for their 2017 The Farewell Tour.

After more than 10 years the Oxford band will part ways following a final run of shows across the UK with special guests Brasstronaut, beginning in Gateshead on February 27 and ending with a hometown gig at the New Theatre on March 12. The band said:

"We have achieved far more as a band than we ever dared to dream back as students in a drafty east Oxford garage and we are immensely proud of the music we have created together.

"We are eternally grateful to all our wonderful fans and friends who have given us so much support throughout our career, and we look forward to celebrating the last 10 years with you on our farewell tour next spring."

The band have also shared a new video for Night Drive, a bonus track on last year's 'Bonxie'.

Tickets are on sale at 10am on October 28.
