Slowcoaches Post Video For New Single 54

Friday, 11 November 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Slowcoaches have posted a video for their new single, 54.

The track will feature on their debut album, ‘Nothing Gives’, which is due to arrive on December 2 via Leisure & District. The song is also available as a limited edition 7" via the London trio's Bandcamp, with a b-side cover of Radio Birdman’s New Race.

Discussing the inspiration behind 54, frontwoman Heather said:

“This one’s about our mate’s house in Leeds. The party house. Number 54. The lyrics are ‘Its a little VICE up there and sweaty down here’ Loads of people have heard those lyrics wrong. Sounds pretty gross in a few ways.”

Following the record's release the band will hit the road for a headline UK tour, calling in Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Hull, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, London and Bristol between December 3 and 11. Tickets are on sale now.
