Busted Announce Natives As Support For 'Night Driver' Tour

Monday, 12 December 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Natives have been announced as support for Busted on their upcoming UK and Ireland tour.

The New Forest quartet will play 24 dates with the reunited trio, kicking off in Norwich on January 28 and winding up at Dublin's Olympia just over a month later. Natives guitarist and synth player Jack Fairbrother said:

"We're really excited for this tour, it's a chance for us to show people from all over the UK what Natives is all about. We thrive on the challenge of converting audiences who've never heard us before into members of The Tribe and we're extremely grateful to the guys in Busted for giving us the opportunity to do that for so many nights."

Natives have recently completed UK tours with Farro and MOTHXR. Meanwhile, Busted are touring behind 'Night Driver', their first studio album in 13 years, which was released in November.

Charly Bliss - Young Enough (Album Review)
Fri 17 May 2019
Historically, second albums have been something of a stumbling block. So much so, in fact, that any real failings can usually be chalked up to a dog-eared stack of problems: truncated timeframes, outside pressure, road-weariness, the desire to try something too different too soon. Equally, brushing these problems off and declaring ‘not these guys!’ is one of the easiest, laziest critical tricks in the book.
