Busted are a pop-rock band based in Essex, consisting of James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson.
Formed in 2000, the band achieved massive success in the UK with singles such as What I Go To School For, Year 3000, Crashed The Wedding, You Said No, Sleeping With The Light On, Who's David, Air Hostess and many more. They went on to win two BRIT Awards and released two studio albums, in the shape of their self-titled 2002 debut and 2003's 'A Present For Everyone, before splitting in 2005. Simpson went on to form post-hardcore band Fightstar, with Willis embarking on a solo career and landing several TV presenting gigs and Bourne joining pop-rock band Son Of Dork. In 2014, the band formed supergroup McBusted with McFly, before deciding to give Busted another try the following year. They have since put out a further two studio records, with the most recent being 'Half Way There' in 2019. They also put out a pair of revamped Greatest Hits albums in 2023. Busted have announced a run of summer UK shows, including headline slots for Sounds Of The City 2024, Live In Somerset, Tunes In The Park, Bristol Sounds, Trentham Live, Kubix Festival and the Jockey Club Live and Stirling Summer Sessions concert series.
