Circa Waves Share New Version Of Fire That Burns Featuring Lynn Gunn Of PVRIS

Friday, 17 March 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

Circa Waves have shared a new version of Fire That Burns featuring PVRIS' Lynn Gunn.

The original version of the song appears on the band's sophomore album, 'Different Creatures', which was released last week.

About the collaboration with Gunn, vocalist Kieran Shuddall said:

“Fire that Burns is a big sounding track, but now with Lynn's incredible, ferocious vocals it turns into a whole new beast. It's bigger and bolder than I could have ever imagined.”

Gunn added:

"I was sent the original version of the song and immediately I related to it.  At that time, I found the song to be very relevant to my current life circumstances.  The entire situation was very serendipitous and I'm happy I got to be a part of it."

The Liverpool four-piece will kick off their spring UK tour tomorrow in Sheffield, following which they will head to Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Oxford, Bristol, Nottingham, Birmingham, London, Leicester, Norwich and Cambridge. Support will come from Inheaven and the Magic Gang. Tickets are on sale now.

The band will also appear at this summer's Reading and Leeds festival, as well as TRNSMT, Kendal Calling and Bestival.
