Gary Numan Confirms Release Date For New LP 'Savage: Songs From A Broken World', Shares First Single

Gary Numan has confirmed the release date for his new album.
'Savage: Songs From A Broken World', the follow up to 'Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)', is due out on September 15 through BMG. Listen to its first single, My Name Is Ruin, below.
Discussing the new record, Numan said:
“The songs are about the things that people do in such a harsh and terrifying environment. It's about a desperate need to survive and they do awful things in order to do so, and some are haunted by what they've done. That desire to be forgiven, along with some discovered remnants of an old religious book, ultimately encourages religion to resurface, and it really goes downhill from there.”
The electro pioneer will tour the UK, Europe and North America later this year. Prior to this he will play three headline shows later this month ahead of his set at Standon Calling on July 30.
