The track features on his new mixtape, 'By Any Means 2', which was released last week. The video, meanwhile, was directed by Pasqual Gutierrez, filmed in the rapper's hometown of Baton Rouge, and stars his entire family.
Speaking about the video, Gates' wife and manager Dreka Gates said:
“I’m sure many of you out there can relate to this, but not having my husband/best friend/father to my children home right now, makes our life really hard sometimes. It’s the simple things like birthday parties and family gatherings that we take for granted. And it’s tough for our kids to understand. I empathize with any of you out there going thru the same thing, with loved ones who are locked up. Hopefully this video will connect with you guys.”
