Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will play a huge show at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham next summer.
Cave and band will be joined by special guest Patti Smith on June 6 for their first show in Ireland for over 10 years. Tickets go on sale at 9am on October 23.
The new date will form part of a run of European headline dates and festival sets which are expected to be confirmed in due course.
