The track is lifted from the Brighton pop-punks' latest LP, 'okay.', which was released back in January. Discussing it, vocalist Patty Walters said:
"No Way Out’ was a drastic departure from the band we used to be; we were all unsure how fans would react to us embracing a much darker, more aggressive direction, but ‘No Way Out’ has become a fan favourite and standout moment in our set every night. There’s this insanely fun and contagious energy in the room when we play this song, and we really wanted to channel and capture that for the video. Without giving too much away, I think it’s safe to assume there’s a bright future for the darker side of As It Is..."
