Zeal & Ardor Share New Song Waste

Friday, 27 April 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Zeal and Ardor have shared a new track.

Waste is the second single from Manuel Gagneux’s upcoming sophomore album, 'Stranger Fruit', following previously shared lead track, Gravedigger's Chant.

"Waste is the introduction of the other half of 'Stranger Fruit',” Gagneux said. "Fully incorporating the gospel and soul elements in black metal and never compromising in its intent. We give you this song as a second single, because it's not what one might expect to come next. This is the feeling that permeates the album as a whole as well. We hope you enjoy."

The follow up to 2016's debut 'Devil is Fine' is set to arrive on June 8, accompanied by live dates across Europe including an appearance at Download festival and Bristol's ArcTanGent in August.
