Charles Aznavour Cancels London Concert Due To Injury

Monday, 18 June 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Charles Aznavour has cancelled his upcoming concert at London's Royal Albert Hall due to injury.

The 93-year-old French vocalist was due to perform his his greatest hits at the venue on June 30. The news was confirmed with a statement from Aznavour's management:

"On the 12th May, Charles Aznavour broke his arm in two places. Whilst he is making a steady recovery, yesterday his medical team announced that the healing process is much slower than first anticipated and therefore a much longer period of physiotherapy will be needed until the singer regains his usual strength and mobility.

"Regretfully, under these circumstances all the concerts lined up until the end of August have sadly been cancelled. This includes the Royal Albert Hall on June 30th.

For ticket refunds, please refer to point of purchase."
