Cat Power has posted a video for her cover of Rihanna's 2012 single Stay.
The song will feature on Chan Marshall's new album, 'Wanderer', which is due for release on October 5 through Domino.
The original version found Rihanna duetting with Mikky Ekko, but Marshall chooses to tackle the song on her own, accompanying herself solo on piano. She said:
“I love the tradition of covering songs. I think it’s one of the highest compliments you can pay another artist. It's one of the great traditions in American music and one of the true pleasures of music history.”
