Joyce Manor Share Dreamy New Single Silly Games

Wednesday, 19 September 2018 Written by Huw Baines

Joyce Manor have shared a third single from their new LP.

'Million Dollars to Kill Me' is out on September 21 through Epitaph and Silly Games plays up the band’s dreamy side. Barry Johnson leans into its classic surf-pop vibe, delivering a longing vocal over the low hum of distortion, glockenspiel hits and a ringing piano line.

Joyce Manor will join UK post-hardcore band Basement for November dates in Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, Southampton, London and Bristol.

Joyce Manor (with Basement) Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Fri November 16 2018 - MANCHESTER Academy
Sat November 17 2018 - LEEDS Stylus
Sun November 18 2018 - GLASGOW Garage
Tue November 20 2018 - BIRMINGHAM O2 Institute2
Wed November 21 2018 - SOUTHAMPTON 1865
Thu November 22 2018 - LONDON O2 Forum
Fri November 23 2018 - BRISTOL SWX

Martha - Love Keeps Kicking (Album Review)
Wed 10 Apr 2019
Martha’s approach to pop music falls somewhere between kitchen sink realism and wild escapism. Over the course of two LPs and a slew of excellent singles the indie-punk quartet, who hail from Pity Me, close to Durham in the northeast of England, have cemented a reputation as a melodically savvy, socially conscious band capable of telling us the truth and then helping us to forget about it.
