Gwenno Explores "Landscape And A Sense Of Place" In 'Le Kov' Short Film

Gwenno has has shared a short film called Le Kov, a landscape....
It is a collaboration between the Welsh singer-songwriter and filmmaker Steve Glashier. During its 10 minutes we hear excerpts from her latest album ,'Le Kov', which was written entirely in Cornish, and from Gwenno as she details her views on music and why she chooses to record in different languages.
In a statement about the film, she said:
"Here's a contemporary visual document exploring what truth and myth is, what Le Kov is about - where we're at, and how we got here. A collaboration between Steve Glashier and I, exploring landscape and a sense of place. A postcard of the now that may one day be forgotten, so let's enjoy the moment before it disappears."
The video arrives ahead of Gwenno's European tour supporting Suede, while in October she will hit the road for a headline UK and Ireland tour, which will kick off in Bristol on October 12 and conclude at Dublin's Metropolis Festival on October 27.
