LCD Soundsystem Unveil Rian Johnson-Directed Video For Oh Baby

LCD Soundsystem have shared a video accompanying the opening track of last year's 'American Dream'.
The video stars Sissy Spacek and David Strathairn and was helmed by filmmaker Rian Johnson, who recently directed Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It tells a story of two scientists who invent a teleportation device and embark "on a devastatingly romantic journey of discovery, tragedy and eternal love," per a statement from the Brooklyn band's frontman, James Murphy.
"My goal would be that it works as a video for the song and the song works as a good soundtrack of the film," he said. "Rather than a video that serves the song."
The clip follows the band's recent cover of Chic's I Want Your Love for Spotify's ongoing Singles series.
