Alma Releases New Single Cowboy From Forthcoming Debut Album

Alma has shared a new song.
Cowboy is the first single to be taken from the Finnish pop powerhouse's anticipated debut album, which is set for release in 2019. Her most personal song to date, the track was written by Alama between Helsinki and LA alongside Justin Tranter, Sarah Hudson, and BloodPop, who also produced the track.
"When I first left my home town to write in LA I felt scared and small - like the world was way too big and for me... it took me a long time to work out who I was and what I wanted to say. I was afraid to give away anything personal at first (us Finnish people are naturally very reserved) so it took a long time for me to understand my true identity and start getting it into my songs. So it helped to create an alter ego - to be a Cowboy."
The track follows her 'Dye My Hair' EP, singles Chasing Highs and Phases featuring French Montana and her 2018 mixtape, 'Heavy Rules'.
