UNKLE Release New Track Ar.Mour, Announce Spring London Show

Monday, 03 December 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

UNKLE have shared a brand new track, Ar.Mour.

The track is set to feature on James Lavelle's forthcoming new album, 'The Road Part II/Lost Highway'. Discussing it, Lavelle said:

"Ar.Mour has one foot in the past and one foot in the future, it's a sound that I'm experimenting with right now. In my head, I was trying to create something that was 'Post-Modern Bboy', working with my two favourite young musicians from London, poet and rapper Elliott Power and singer and producer Miink. I wanted to create something that was like Blade Runner meets contemporary London, with a sound-system aesthetic, a sort of kru cut."

UNKLE return to the live arena next year with a performance at London's Royal Festival Hall on April 19. Tickets are available now.

UNKLE Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Fri April 19 2019 - LONDON Royal Festival Hall

The Chemical Brothers - No Geography (Album Review)
Tue 16 Apr 2019
In the 1990s—along with Fatboy Slim and the Prodigy—the Chemical Brothers popularised a particular brand of big beat electronica that ran adjacent to, and sometimes intertwined with, the pompously termed Intelligent Dance Music movement. Their ninth studio album, ‘No Geography’ boldly revisits this sound, updating it thematically while combining many of the compositional elements brilliantly. The result is probably their best album since 2002’s ‘Come With Us’.
