The Prodigy Share Video For Timebomb Zone From 'No Tourists' Release

Friday, 07 December 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

The Prodigy have released a video for Timebomb Zone.

The track features on the dance trio's seventh studio album, 'No Tourists', which was released in November. Its video, directed by Paco Raterta, is a visual feast that centres around an underground fighting (dancing?) ring.

The band are currently on the road in mainland Europe, following a UK tour last month. They head to Australia and New Zealand in the new year. Tickets are on sale now.

To say the Prodigy have not really updated their sound is to miss the point. Like their distant cousins in electronic music Erasure and Depeche Mode they have spent their career honing a particular sonic oeuvre, and their seventh album, ‘No Tourists’, ranks among the best work within it.

The Chemical Brothers - No Geography (Album Review)
Tue 16 Apr 2019
In the 1990s—along with Fatboy Slim and the Prodigy—the Chemical Brothers popularised a particular brand of big beat electronica that ran adjacent to, and sometimes intertwined with, the pompously termed Intelligent Dance Music movement. Their ninth studio album, ‘No Geography’ boldly revisits this sound, updating it thematically while combining many of the compositional elements brilliantly. The result is probably their best album since 2002’s ‘Come With Us’.
