Lambchop have announced a new album.
'This (is what I wanted to tell you)' is due to arrive on March 22 and follow up 2016's 'FLOTUS (For Love Often Turns Us Still)'. Kurt Wagner and band will support the release with a spring European tour, which will include a UK stop at EartH in London on April 21. Tickets go on sale at 9am on December 12.
Head below to check out the record's first single, The December-ish You, and its accompanying video by Jonny Sanders. The track is a six-minute, genre-bending piece that sees the band veering away from their alt-country roots and embracing more pop sensibilities. Its melodies are led by keys and guitars, accompanied by meandering synth lines and lightly autotuned vocals to create a subtly instense and atmospheric number.
