Goldie and James Davidson Release New Subjective Single Rift Valley

Monday, 07 January 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Subjective have unveiled a new single.

Rift Valley is a mesmerising blend of rattling percussion beneath pulsating beats and sustained strings, with vocals provided by regular collaborator Terri Walkers. Its hypnotic video is a kaleidoscopic light show by David Wexler of Strangeloop.

The track is the fourth single, following 2018’s Inkolelo, I Saw Her Last Summer and Re-Entry, to be shared by the duo, an electronic dance collaboration between Goldie and the engineer and producer James Davidson. All the songs will appear on their debut LP, ‘Act One: Music For Inanimate Objects’, which is due out on January 18, having been pushed back from September.
