The Rasmus To Celebrate 'Dead Letters' Album With Autumn UK Dates

The Rasmus will celebrate their 'Dead Letters' album at UK shows in the autumn.
The Finnish band will perform their 2003 milestone album, which spawned the worldwide smash hit In The Shadows, at Manchester's O2 Ritz, Glasgow's SWG3, Nottingham's Rock City, O2 Academy Bristol and London's O2 Forum Kentish Town during October. Vocalist Lauri Ylönen, said:
"Dead Letters is the most important album in the history of The Rasmus. At the time of the release in 2003 we had already existed almost 10 years and were on the threshold of adulthood as a band. With self-confidence and curiosity, the fear of the future defined our new style and identity for good. We want to celebrate the 15th anniversary of this album by diving back into that dark world and playing it live from start to finish.
We are super excited about this. The album is very theatrical and has strong imagery. We want to bring that visual world to the live performances. Some of the songs will have their first live premier in the Fall of 2019!"
Tickets go on general sale at 9am on February 1, priced from £22.50 plus fees. The record, meanwhile, will get a special edition re-release on CD and LP on June 6.
