Julien Baker Releases Former Record Store Day Exclusives Red Door And Conversation Piece

Julien Baker has released two tracks that were formerly Record Store Day exclusives.
Red Door and Conversation Piece are the singer and guitarist’s first solo output since 2017's ‘Turn Out The Lights’, having been busy last year collaborating with Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers for their joint project Boygenius.
Red Door is an atmospheric track led by immense finger-picking and haunting slide guitar skills, with some pretty violent imagery to contrast with the lush sounds. Conversation Piece, meanwhile, revolves around a repeated guitar line, with Baker’s poignant and beautiful vocals laid softly over the top.
Baker has US tour dates lined up over the summer with Lucy Dacus and Bon Iver.
