Good Charlotte Cancel Remaining Summer Tour Dates

Tuesday, 09 July 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Good Charlotte have cancelled their remaining summer tour dates.

The Maryland band kicked off their tour in May and had several shows scheduled for August, as well as an appearance on the Warped Tour in California. They've decided to leave the road early due to a "very personal and unexpected loss” in their family.

Good Charlotte were touring off the back of their latest album, 'Generation Rx', which was released in September 2018. A statement from the band reads:

"GC fans everywhere, it is with great disappointment that we have to announce the cancellation of our remaining summer tour dates. This year has been one of the most challenging years for our band, as we've been dealing with very personal and unexpected loss in our family. We have to take the time to focus on our families and our well being.

"Thank you for the love and support you’ve given us, we hope you know the genuine appreciation we have for you all. We hope to see you all very soon. Love, GC."
