Good Charlotte will take their Motel Du Cap World Tour to Australia early next year.
The Maryland pop-punk veterans will kick off the run with a performance at Perth's RAC Arena on February 17. They'll then head to Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 19, Bendigo Racecourse on February 21, and Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on February 25, wrapping up in New Zealand at Auckland Domain on February 27. Lead vocalist Joel Madden said:
"Australia is such a special place to Good Charlotte and to me personally, it feels like a home away from home in many ways, and we can’t wait to head back there for some big shows. It’s been far too long since we’ve spent time with our Aussie fans, we’re all in for a big treat."
Support will come from Florida pop-punks Yellowcard and Melbourne rockers Kisschasy. Tickets go on general sale at 11am local time on October 20.
The shows are Good Charlotte's first in Australia in over eight years, and supports their eighth studio album, 'Motel Du Cap', which dropped in August. Prior to the record's release, the band shared the singles Stepper and Rejects.
Good Charlotte will play Neon City Festival in Las Vegas in November. They were also recently announced as headliners for the UK's Slam Dunk festival next May. Tickets are on sale now.
