Good Charlotte Confirm Details Of New Album 'Motel Du Cap', Share First Single Rejects

Good Charlotte have officially announced their new album.
Following billboard teasers in Los Angeles, the Maryland rock band have confirmed the follow-up to 2018's 'Generation Rx' is called 'Motel Du Cap' and will arrive on August 8 via Atlantic Records.
The inspiration for the album was sparked by a private performance for a friend's wedding in 2023 at the iconic Hotel du Cap in France, and they claim it's their most personal to date. Lead vocalist Joel Madden said:
“It was this wild, once-in-a-lifetime vibe. We were just there to celebrate, no pressure, and it reminded us why we started this—pure, unfiltered connection.”
Alongside news of the record, the quartet have shared its earworm punk-rock lead single, Rejects, which Joel and Benji Madden co-wrote with Jordan Fish and Zakk Cervini, who also co-produced it. Head below to watch its video, which splices performance footage with a Claymates™ animated storyline.
Good Charlotte have a handful of US performances in the diary for the coming months, as well as two shows in Brazil this August.
