Disney's The Lion King Extends Run At Edinburgh Playhouse Into Spring 2020

Disney's The Lion King has extended its run at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
The record-breaking show will run for an extra seven weeks at the venue between February 11 and March 29, 2020. Tickets for dates during this period go on general sale at 10am on September 12. Colin Marr, Theatre Director at the Playhouse said:
“We have seen exceptional demand for Disney’s THE LION KING’s return to the Playhouse. From Edinburgh locals to across Scotland from the Borders to Shetland Islands.”
The previously announced performances of the show at the Scottish theatre take place between December 5 and February 9. Tickets for these dates are already on sale.
Since its premiere on Broadway in 1997, 25 global productions of the The Lion King have been watched by more than 100 million people. The show is produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, and has made theatrical history with six productions worldwide running 15 or more years.
